We have commissioned a new work from Damian Montano which will feature the trombone as soloist within the quintet. We look forward to working with the composer in developing this piece. Rob's first solo CD "In the Big City" is now available. Featured is the music of Nick Lane, Kim Scharnberg, Theodore Holdheim, Rychard Cooper and Michael Galib. Rob was ably assisted by pianists Scott Dunn and Byran Pezzone, trombonist Jim Miller and "The Big City Trumpets" including Jon Lewis, Rob Roy McGregor, David Washburn, Chris Still, Mike Zonshine and Fenton Frear, conducted by Johannes Muller-Stosch. Ken Kugler was the fantastic recording engineer and the brilliant layout and photography is by Kurt Reichenbach.
